A striking piece of mid-century East German glass, designed by Ingrid Morche for Lausitzer Glas.
Standing an impressive 35 cm tall, the vase has a strong architectural rectangular form decorated with three large moulded flower motifs. The raised floral design creates wonderful depth and texture, catching the light beautifully against the subtle smoky grey glass.
Its combination of bold geometric form and stylised floral decoration gives it a distinctive mid-century character, making it a particularly attractive example of East German glass design from the period.
