A striking vintage Scheurich Keramik vase, model 517-30, produced in West Germany and dating from the mid-to-late 20th century.
The tall cylindrical form features a wonderfully rich combination of glazes, with deep glossy brown across the upper and lower sections contrasted by a bold red-orange central band. Textured earthy tones appear where the glazes meet, creating the characteristic organic variation that makes West German pottery so distinctive.
